Novel Shelf, Hanging Rope Shelf

Our Novel rope shelves are made with second hand, hard cover books. Each one is completely unique!

These shelves are perfect for displaying our blocks, plants or other pieces you want to show off! This is the perfect gift for any book lover or anyone who likes unique decor pieces.

Every attempt is made to buy second hand books in excellent shape but they may have minor bumps or scratches, particularly antique books. Book titles do not always run horizontal along the spine, if you would like a book with horizontal text please mention this in preferences.

Options:
You can request a colour for your book under preferences, ie. blue, red, black, green, grey, tan ( we will message you if we do not have your colour in stock).

**If you select Custom we will be in contact to show you what we have in stock. PLEASE check your messages to choose your book or we will send you a default book after 48 hours.**

Book Types:
Regular Novel : Newer hardcover books in a variety categories such as Mystery, Fiction, Fantasy.
Antique Book: Older, aged books with a ton of character
Kid's Novel: Variety of themes, may have images rather than a plain cover
Custom: If you would like to choose a specific book based on what we have in stock please select this option and then include details of what you would like under Personalization and we will get in touch with photos of what we have available.

We cannot guarantee the exact sizes of your novel shelf, as every book is a slightly different size, we will provide exact measurements if requested.

Antique Books

➡️ Rope Type and Length:

Length: The length of the rope is measured from the top of the board to the bottom of the knot on the metal hoop, the metal hoops adds 1 inch to the length.
Options: 12”, 14” or 16”

Rope Type Options:
Light Brown 4mm twine
Cream, cotton 6mm macrame chord

🐱 CARE & MOUNTING:
Your shelf is intended for indoor use only. It can be wiped with a clean, slightly damp cloth but should not get wet. If you intend to have a plant on your shelf, we recommend that you have it on a plant tray.

Shelves are intended to be hung against a wall, they will not be level if hung from a ceiling. They are very easy to hang with just a single nail or hook. Shelves are leveled before shipping but you can adjust them slightly with the knots below the shelf, if needed. When hanging ensure that the outer loop of the knot is facing forward as shown in the photos or it may not sit level.
